I sure would like to find one of these light-weight mountain parkas in size XL or XXL. I didn’t find this jacket on the MEC web page. This particular parka is longer than most jackets on the market, and the light nylon lining is also hard to find.
Hi Connie, This particular jacket probably dates back to the early-mid 70s so I’m not surprised there’s nothing like it on the MEC website. Several companies have began making new incarnates of these older jackets for their heritage lines. Sierra Designs has such a line and Holubar has recently re emerged with a parka that stays pretty true to the older style.
Thanks for reading the blog.
