This stove folds up into a 7 x 4.7 x 1.625 rectangle with fold down supports giving it that Mousetrap appearance. Fuel comes from a canister that connected via a half inch tube inserted into a canister. from what I understand the canister used on these had a rubber nipple and no screw connection was used. Still I cannot say if this stove has the complete under carriage but it seems to. Also, sounds like the fuel source for these is pretty tough to come by so it may be so a collectors item only anyhow.
Front sticker reads Optimus International 731. Side sticker gives lighting instructions and reads Optimus Inc., Bridgeport, Ct 06601
Measures 6 3/8 inches high when extended and weighs 12 ounces.
I would like to know if this stove is still for sale by chance as my stove that uses the same fuel cans broke and I still have 15 cans of the 702 LP gas fuel cans with no stove to use them. Please contact me if it is still for sale. Email – hmmccgg@gmail.com
Thanks,
Dan
